Breathe Me explores the emotion, isolation and fear faced by high altitude mountaineers and draws a parallel with the struggles experienced by children born with respiratory illnesses; both of whom are connected by an immense will to survive in the face of unimaginable suffering and love.
The film follows the journey of John Michael Mouskos, founder of the Breathing Life Trust, to the mountain peeks of Mont Blanc and Mount Acconcagua in Argentina, in his quest to understand more about the isolation fear and pain experienced by children with breathing difficulties.
